A motion detector is installed to pick up an intruder moving inside the premiss. All external doors are protected. This type of package was put together for customers who just want the bare minimum alarm protection. Average price for this system starts at $99.00 up to $195.00 and the monitoring cost starts at $25.00 to $32.00 per month depending on the monitoring or maintenance plan you select. For full protection we recommend a custom alarm system to protect all ground level and accessible points of entry. All external doors should be wired. Minimum of one motion detector. If you want to go the extra step in security then glass break detectors should be install to protect the breaking of the windows. Prices will vary depending on the size and points of entry of the premiss being protected. FIRE ALARMS Our fire alarms systems can be as small as one smoke detector for a single family house to a huge warehouse or a hotel having up to over 120 smoke detectors. Smoke detectors cost on the average of $135.00 to $175.00 ea. The smoke detectors can be added to any burglar alarm system. If the smoke detectors installed is less then two they can be added to the burglar alarm system at no additional monthly charge. Prices to install the fire alarm will vary with the size of the building. Please call for prices. HOLD-UP ALARMS Hold-up buttons are placed in an inconceivable place and are used in the event of a hold-up. The central station monitoring will get a different signal for hold-up as apposed to burglary and fire when it is activated. The cost for installation depending on the location of the buttons is from $30.00 to $95.00 each. If you already have a burglar alarm the additional monthly cost will be $3.00 for each button. If the hold-up system is self contained (not part of a burglar or fire alarm system) the minimum cost will be $25.00 per mont for monitoring and installation of $195.00. FLOOD ALARMS Flood alarm contacts are placed in the lower level of a building and are used to sound a warning should a sump pump stop working or if you have a water leak in the building. These devices only cost $95.00 for the first sensor for each additional sensor add $65.00. The additional monthly monitoring charge if you already have an alarm system would only be $10.00 per month. If the flood alarm is a self standing unit the installation will be $195.00. All extra sensors will be $95.00 per month. Monthly charge will be $35.00. OPENING/CLOSING NOTIFICATION This is a very unique system. It is used in business to monitor personal opening and closing the building during working days, weekends and holidays. The system can show management if the building or retail store closed early then it was scheduled causing the company to loose business. A print out will be sent to the subscriber every month listing the user's code, date, time, minute of anyone who opened or closed the building. Cost will range from $28.00 to $40.00 in addition to the monthly monitoring charges for the alarm system. OUTSIDE PERIMETER DETECTION DEVICES There are many detection devices that will work with the alarm system for outside use. There are photo electric beams, passive motion detectors, magnetic contacts & fence alarms. The biggest problem that alarm companies are having in choosing a good manufacture is how good is the detector going to hold up to the weather environment. If dampness gets into these sensors it will cause a false alarm. Beams can fog up if they do not have the right electronics circuits. There is price differences between these devices that separate an excellent detector from a lesser unit. Pay a little more for the outside detectors and we know that you will have less trouble and fewer false alarms. ACCESS CONTROLS These controls are used to secure a building. Some of the components are strikers with hydraulic closers, control panel, magnetic cards (for personal to use), code pads and in some cases a computer to control the system. The access controls will allow or disallow access to a building. One person may not have access to the building or a certain area within a building at different times while some other employee may gain access to other parts of the building anytime they want. TEMPERATURE ALARMS If you should happen to own a grocery store, there is nothing like coming in the building in the morning to find all of your frozen foods melted. A temperature alarm works for cold and hot. The sensor is put in the freezer or furnace area and will monitor a pre-determine temperature. Cost is $295.00 for installation includes the first sensor, $95.00 for each additional sensor $30.00 monthly for the first sensor and $15.00 each for any additional sensor depending on how many sensors are needed. CLOSED CIRCUIT TV I am sure you have seen how valuable CCTV has been. Almost every day on television on the news there is a crime captured on CCTV that aids the police in solving a crime. A simple camera & monitor start at $595.00. There are options that can be added to this system such as a VCVR, different types of lens, and a quad that allows you to put up to four pictures at the same time on the monitor. ELECTRONIC DOOR RELEASES This system is to protect the personal inside the building from people on the street from entering the building. This device is normally used in conjunction with an intercom. The intercom is a two station unit. One station is near the receptionist desk and the other outside the door. If the person outside of the building wants to enter the building they would go to the intercom where they would talk to the personal inside the building. If the people inside the building want them to enter they will push an electronic door release button that would allow the person access to the building. There are may type of doors and may type of door frames. Depending on what you have to work with the system could be as low as $295.00 up to $795.00 for aluminum doors and frames. The signal is sent back to the control box and when the door or window is opened it will trigger the alarm. In very few cases do we have to do a whole alarm system by wireless, however if this is not so it is nice to know we have a work around. ALARM MONITORING SERVICES All the above systems can be monitored by our Central Station. The Central Station has a UL LISTING and is recognized by most insurance companies for discounts on your home owners policy. Our office will send you a certificate that an alarm system has been installed when the installation is complete which you then send to your insurance company. DIRECT PAGER NOTIFICATION ON ALARM In addition to dispatching the police immediately to handle your emergency, our advanced computer system will page you automatically, directly from your control panel. The unique code number it sends allows you to easily identfy the type of alarm (fire, burglar, etc).
